The Plates supplied with the 8 plate Astrolabe are for the following Latitudes. 31 deg. 34 deg. 37.5 deg. 40 deg. 42.5 deg. 45 deg. Also available are 20 deg., 25 deg., 50 deg., 55 deg., 60 deg. The seventh plate is a Universal Horizen plate. This plate has horizons every 5 degrees for everywhere from the Equator to the North Pole. With it you can calculate risings and settings for any latitude. The eighth plate is a Terresterial Plate. The land and sea masses on the Earth are shown. Above the Earth travel the Sun and the Stars. |
